  • Guitar Plus @ Artscape – Take Two performed as part of the Guitar Plus concert series in January 2009. The series was put on by Cape Town guitar maestro Uliano Marchio, and the programme included works by Schubert, Granados, Brahms, Mozart, Albinoni, Massenet, Piazzolla and Villa-Lobos. Peter also performed alongside Uliano as part of the series, the first time they have paired up to perform. It was a very special and enjoyable occasion for Peter, who was supervised for his Master's Degree by Uliano.
  • Back To School 1 – As past pupils of Westerford High School, Kerryn and Peter were invited to be part of an evening performance of past pupils to celebrate the school. There was a fantastic line-up of talent on the evening, including comedian Nic Rabinowitz, Freshly Ground drummer Peter Cohen, and acclaimed New York based pianist Kathleen Tagg.
  • Back To School 2 - Take Two decided to give a concert at Level 4, the Westerford High School's brand new sports pavilion. It was such a perfect venue for a concert, with its spectacular balcony and views, fireplace, and bar, that one concert turned into a second one a few weeks later, which pleased both Take Two (apparently they don’t mind being in front of an audience) and all those who didn’t manage to get tickets for the first concert. Both were a sellout!
  • Concerts at The Forge in Kalk Bay – Potter Katherine Glenday has created the perfect space for intimate concerts at her gorgeous ceramics studio just up the road from Olympia Café in Kalk Bay. Peter was so taken with the venue, not least the fantastic acoustics, that he scheduled a solo recital which he performed there to a capacity audience. Take Two then filled the venue again with their first concert there as a duo in September 2008. Contact Katherine at The Forge on 0217885994 to get yourself onto the venues mailing list, or to find out about booking the venue – it really is a gorgeous place to play live acoustic music.
  • Valentine’s Day - On Valentine’s Day, Take Two will make their annual visit to the deliciously luxurious Ellerman House in Bantry Bay, where they perform on the terrace over-looking Table Bay. One of the most beautiful spots to spend and a gorgeous sunset evening. Voorkamervest - Take Two performed a series of 12 short concerts at the Darling Voorkamerfest in September 2006. The concerts involved a musical journey around the world, and was so well received that a full length Take Two concert was organized at Evita Se Peron.
  • Evita Se Peron - Following their popularity at the Darling Voorkamerfest, Take Two were welcomed back to Darling in October 2006 for a full length show at Evita Se Peron. In front of a packed house, they performed an extended version of their Darling Festival concert entitled “Itchy Feet”.
  • Kerryn Performs With David Kramer – Having recorded with David Kramer early in 2007, Kerryn was invited by the South African music legend to perform with him at the Oude Libertas theatre. Showing her versatility as a violinist, the music performed was mostly from David’s latest album.
  • Peter Gets His Air Supply! – Having recorded with local singer songwriter Alice Gilham, Peter was delighted when he got to play alongside her as the opening act for legendary 80’s band Air Supply on their 2007 tour of South Africa. Going from Classical musician to Rock Star on stage in front of thousands of people was enough of a taste for Peter to know he wants more!
